Filitheyo is the only resort island in the North Nilandhoo Atoll. By Maldivian terms, a quite large island, densely vegetated with palm trees, rubber trees, mangroves and Scaevola trees. The beaches are broad and beautiful and the island is unspoiled. On the fine, white-sanded ocean side of the island, turtles come in to lay their eggs and lucky guests may be able to watch them hatch on a moonlit night and see the young ones scurrying off into the warm waters.
 

SUPERIOR VILLA - There are 94 Superior Rooms built around the edge of the island just set back from the beach but within the treeline. The air-conditioned rooms are elegantly furnished with large four poster beds and attractive hardwood furniture. All rooms are equipped with a well stocked mini-bar, telephone, safe deposit box, television and CD stereo-player. The bathrooms are almost as large as the bedrooms and have twin sinks, desalinated hot and cold water shower and separate WC. All bathrooms have hairdryers and bathrobes are provided.

FAMILY VILLA - These are two inter-connecting Superior Villas, perfect for families with young children.

DELUXE VILLA - The Deluxe Rooms are the same size as the Superior Rooms but have larger bathrooms, part open air with shower and offering a bathtub.        
       
WATER VILLA - 16 Luxurious water-bungalows have been built on stilts in the lagoon on the south side. These offer the height of luxury including double doors that open out onto a large shaded sun-deck area, with steps leading down into the lagoon and an additional platform provides plenty of room for sunbathing. The Rooms are with four poster beds, whilst the bathrooms are large and have a whirlpool bath.
 

Main Restaurant
The restaurant on Filitheyo serves a very good choice of international and local dishes. There is a delicious selection of fresh meat and poultry dishes, including grilled meats, seafood and pasta, plus an excellent choice of fresh mixed salads and tropical fruits. For those with a sweeter tooth there is an ample choice of international deserts available. Beach buffets and barbecues, including many Maldivian specialities, provide further variety
to the menu.

Filitheyo Bar
Filitheyo Bar is the main bar on the island, conveniently located opposite the main restaurant, making it an ideal choice for a pre or post dinner drink.

Close to the main bar is a decked area that leads down to a sunken library and air-conditioned reading

Sunset Bar
Located on the Western side of the Island, the a la carte restaurant has an impressive selection of contemporary international dishes. Take a break from swimming and enjoy a freshly blended juice or a tropical cocktail at the swim up bar next to the Pool.
